Web scraping and search API cost calculator
Enter how many pages or searches you need per month. We estimate the monthly bill at each of 18 vendors from their published pricing tiers and sort the results cheapest first. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Type a number or use k / m, for example 250k or 1.5m.
Untick to see only monthly-billed, pay-as-you-go and prepaid options.
How the estimate works
- Each plan is read from the vendor's pricing page: monthly fee, included credits or requests, and any published overage rate. A request type (for example JavaScript rendering) is converted to credits using the vendor's own multiplier.
- For your volume we keep every plan that covers it: fee only if the volume fits the allowance, fee plus published overage if it does not, or simply volume × rate for pay-as-you-go and prepaid packs.
- The cheapest covering plan is shown per vendor. If a vendor publishes no price for the request type, or you are above its largest published plan with no overage rate, it is listed under not enough data.
- Rows based on a component-only rate, a stated minimum or an assumption (for example Jina Reader's tokens-per-page) are shown in a separate table and are never ranked with fully published prices.
The formulas behind every number are on the methodology page and each vendor page. Rankings here are rule-based: they depend only on published prices and cannot be influenced by affiliate status. FetchIndex has an affiliate relationship with Firecrawl (disclosure); this page contains no affiliate links.
Caveats
- Prices only. Nothing here measures success rate, speed or data quality. A cheaper plan that fails on your target sites costs more.
- Published prices, not quotes. Taken from each vendor's public pricing page on the date shown. Taxes, VAT, card fees, proxies, CAPTCHA solving and add-ons are not included unless a row says so.
- Free tiers are not subtracted. Many vendors give a free monthly or one-time allowance; it is listed under each result but not applied.
- Plan fit. A plan is only used if its included allowance (or a published overage rate) covers your volume. Above the largest published plan we show “not enough data” instead of guessing; enterprise pricing is custom.
- Annual plans are shown as the monthly equivalent. You commit to the whole year, and the monthly-billed price may not be published.
- Mixed workloads. The calculator prices one request type at a time. If half your pages are plain and half need rendering, add the two results.
- Partial data is flagged, not hidden. Component-only rates, stated minimums and assumption-based estimates are listed separately, never ranked against fully published prices.

Questions
Why does a vendor show “not enough data”?
Either it does not publish a per-request price for that request type (Apify, for example, prices per Actor), or your volume is above the largest plan we can model and no overage rate is published. We would rather show a gap than invent a number.
Why are some plans missing at high volume?
Several vendors publish fixed plan sizes with no overage price. Above their largest plan the right answer is to ask for a quote, which is not something we can compute.
