FetchIndex

Web scraping and search API cost calculator

Enter how many pages or searches you need per month. We estimate the monthly bill at each of 18 vendors from their published pricing tiers and sort the results cheapest first. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Estimates from published prices only. Prices last verified (data version 2026.10.16); each result shows its own check date. Not a quote, and not a measure of reliability or output quality. Where a vendor does not publish enough to price a request type, we say not enough data.

Type a number or use k / m, for example 250k or 1.5m.

What are you requesting?

Untick to see only monthly-billed, pay-as-you-go and prepaid options.

How the estimate works

  1. Each plan is read from the vendor's pricing page: monthly fee, included credits or requests, and any published overage rate. A request type (for example JavaScript rendering) is converted to credits using the vendor's own multiplier.
  2. For your volume we keep every plan that covers it: fee only if the volume fits the allowance, fee plus published overage if it does not, or simply volume × rate for pay-as-you-go and prepaid packs.
  3. The cheapest covering plan is shown per vendor. If a vendor publishes no price for the request type, or you are above its largest published plan with no overage rate, it is listed under not enough data.
  4. Rows based on a component-only rate, a stated minimum or an assumption (for example Jina Reader's tokens-per-page) are shown in a separate table and are never ranked with fully published prices.

The formulas behind every number are on the methodology page and each vendor page. Rankings here are rule-based: they depend only on published prices and cannot be influenced by affiliate status. FetchIndex has an affiliate relationship with Firecrawl (disclosure); this page contains no affiliate links.

Link: every calculation has a shareable URL, for example /calculator/?pages=250000&type=page_js. Parameters: pages (number, or 250k / 1.5m), type (one of page_basic, page_js, page_protected, content_extract, serp, search_ai), annual=0 to exclude annual-billed plans.

Embed: free to use on your own site or docs. Please keep the attribution link. Copy this snippet:

Questions

Why does a vendor show “not enough data”?

Either it does not publish a per-request price for that request type (Apify, for example, prices per Actor), or your volume is above the largest plan we can model and no overage rate is published. We would rather show a gap than invent a number.

Why are some plans missing at high volume?

Several vendors publish fixed plan sizes with no overage price. Above their largest plan the right answer is to ask for a quote, which is not something we can compute.

Send the source link to [email protected] and we will correct it and record the change in the price log.
